Pianist Benjamin Grosvenor has signed a three-year agreement with EFG International. A frequent supporter of the arts, the global banking group was a sponsor of the 2012 Gramophone Awards – an association which will continue for the 2013 Gramophone Awards, taking place in September. Grosvenor won both the Instrumental Award and Young Artist of the Year at the 2012 Gramophone Awards for his recording of Chopin, Liszt and Ravel on Decca Classics - accolades which recommended him as the perfect candidate for EFG support.

The new relationship, which was brokered by James Brown of Hazard Chase management and Keith Gapp from EFG, will assist the 21-year-old pianist for the next three years of his career, providing concert opportunities and experiences. Grosvenor, for his part, will appear every so often at events associated with EFG.

‘I am delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with EFG over a sustained period and enormously grateful for their support, not just of me personally, but of the arts in general and of young people in particular,’ said Grosvenor.
