Martin Cullingford
Tuesday, August 14, 2012

In this month's edition of the Gramophone Podcast editor-in-chief James Jolly meets pianist Khatia Buniatishvili to talk about her new recording of music by Chopin (on Sony), and Harry Christophers – founder and conductor of choir and former Gramophone Artists of the Year The Sixteen – to discuss his recording of Handel's oratorio Saul (on Coro).

Meanwhile, editor Martin Cullingford visited Wells Cathedral School to talk to, among others, organist and master of the choristers Matthew Owens, cellist Jamie Walton and the schools Head Elizabth Cairncross about the school's musical life, and to find out more about plans for a new performance and rehearsal facility, Cedars Hall.
