The latest Gramophone podcast is now available to stream or download.

Gramophone
's editor-in-chief James Jolly interviews conductor Robert Hollingworth of I Fagiolini about recording Striggio's 40 part Mass for Decca - the disc which knocked André Rieu's Forever Vienna album from the top of the Specialist Classical Chart last week. He also talks to British pianist Nick van Bloss about recording the Goldberg Variations for Nimbus. You can also listen to an excerpt from both recordings.

This current Gramophone magazine focuses on film music, and the postcast also contains a discussion about the genre, including reflections on film score composer John Barry, who died in January, and you can listen to an excerpt from his score for Out of Africa, courtesy of Sony Classical.

Listen below, or on the Gramophone Player, at our YouTube Channel – or you can download the Podcast for free from iTunes.
