Gallery: Aurora Orchestra Playing with Fire

The ever-enterprising Aurora Orchestra's new concert programme is called ‘Playing with Fire'. It is an experiment in ‘Orchestral Theatre’ inspired by the figure of Prometheus and combines newly-commissioned film, illustration, staging, lighting design and spoken word. The concert features HK Gruber's Frankenstein!! alongside Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and The Creatures of Prometheus. The picture gallery above features photos from the rehearsals alongside illustrations by Simon Evans. ‘Playing with Fire' will be performed at the MC2 in Grenoble on May 26 and at London's Royal Festival Hall on May 29.
