Organist Cameron Carpenter performs at the Proms

Flamboyant performer focuses on Bach in two consecutive afternoon concerts

Flamboyant, cross-genre organist Cameron Carpenter appeared at the Proms on September 1 and 2, performing original works by Bach and his own arrangements and improvisations. In the second concert, his own Syncretic Prelude and Fugue incorporated Bach's famous Chaconne and the finale of Mahler's Fifth Symphony.
