The Met: Live in HD celebrates its 10th season

The Met: Live in HD series is marking its 10th season of broadcasting to cinemas around the world this year. The 2015-16 season includes 10 live transmissions, with five productions new to the series.

The season commences with Verdi's Il trovatore on October 3 – starring Anna Netrebko as Leonora – and Otello on October 17, Wagner's Tannhäuser on October 31, Berg's Lulu on November 21, Bizet's Les pêcheurs de perles (January 16), Puccini's Turandot (January 30), Manon Lescaut (March 5) and Madama Butterfly (April 2), Donizetti's Roberto Devereux (April 16) and Strauss's Elektra (April 30).
