Extremely maddening given that I have that I spent a considerble amont of time and thought to adding my contribtion to a previous post which has now been lost. Sort it out guys!

Anyway, I've done a bit of work on it. It was probably only a problem on some historical threads (Bartok and 'Going back to CDs'), which should now be resolved.
