Hi, I accidentally posted a new thread twice and tried to go back and delete one (to no avail) and also wanted to fix something in one of them (to delete a line) and I couldn't edit it.

Help please!

Best wishes,

Petra

Hi Petra - I've not found a way to delete a post entirely yet but you can edit it by going to the post in question, click on 'edit' (bottom right hand corner) make changes and save.

Looks like we're back to square 1, Petra. I notice that some of my posts still have "Edit", while some don't. We need someone from Gramophone to answer this. Anyone out there?

Sorry to state the obvious, but are you sure you were logged-on when the "edit" didn't show?

If it shows in some of your posts and not others when you are logged-on, that's weird indeed.

You can't actually delete a post but if you put lots of expletives in it Gramophone will actually delete it for you, free of charge. They do provide some great services. Keep up the good work Gramophone. P.S. if you are too posh to know any expletives then just type in lots of xxxx's, we'll use our imagination.

How refreshing in this instance to be able to concede expertise to your good self.  Expertise based on experience, of course.

Been there, seen it, done it, bought the t-shirt, then got arrested for wearing the T-shirt in a public place. Court case pending (But I gave them a false name, Vic).

Hi Vic!

Well, I just looked again, and no, the "edit" option is not available for me in the ones that I wanted to edit. I think that maybe it's because it was it was starting a new thread? Not certain why that should make a difference though? I see that option on other postings of mine though and have used it [so at least I'm not going crazy! LOL].

Thank you anyway for your suggestion! Perhaps "G" will help us out here?

Best wishes,

Petra
