Maintaining the themes of forum threads
Light-touch moderation seems to work well on this forum.
In my time on this forum, the majority of posts withdrawn for offensive comments have been yours - under one or other of your ten noms de plume.
I wonder you complain. The liberal regime here tolerates you well, I would have thought.

Sounds like BolsheVic is entering his Stalinist phase.

No, I'll stick with my softy liberal line. I can get far more fun out of you in that vein.

Gordon Brown may have gone from Stalin to Mr Bean, but it seems Vic has gone from Stalin to jeremy Thorpe.

And you, Brodsky, have gone from supposedly educated doctorate to Yorkshire thicko in at least ten uneasy stages and have been easily identified in every stage of descent. I disliked attempts to ban you fron this forum as I'm all for free speech. Sometimes I read a comment from you and you surprise me with your insight. You are obviously very knowledgable and it's a pity you prefer to play mindgames with forum members instead of engaging in constructive dialogue. That's your perogative, of course and if this is the way you want to conduct yourself, by all means carry on. Unless I am mistaken, I appear to be the latest person for you to have a pop at. Not that I really care. If you work, do bare in mind that the Equalty Act (2010) only protects 9 personal characteristics. Just having a bit of fun is no excuse these days, you see, in our increasingly supposedly liberal environmenment.

Hugh - though I agree with you that threads do weave in and out, I thought posts removed were usually done so because they were offensive in some way - e.g. bad language, racism etc...

Not this time. Luca de Raygun was in agressive mood and wanted to play at being the editior. He wanted a big boys job with a real title.
