Reporting errors in the archive
All,
Just wondering whether anything is ever done to correct errors reported using the link on pages in the archive. I've just had a blitz (sorry, IT department) on some Xenakis reviews, where the OCR managed to misread the title of nearly every work (not helped by the diacriticals and whatnot). But I've also noticed that one I reported ages ago still awaits correction - I can't spell it out here, as I'd probably be breaking the rules on rude words, but readers are invited to visit p.52 of May 1994's issue to see, at the start of the last para., how Dutilleux's title "Timbres, espace, mouvement" has come out. (In a way I'd be sorry to see that one go, as it is one of the, er, juicier ones.)

Martin,
Bah, quite spoilt my fun - now I'll have to find another rude one to laugh at. No, seriously, thanks for that, and what a wonderful resource the archive is. It's probably too late now, but it might have been an idea to include some way for users to rate the seriousness of errors when reporting them - mis-recognitions of work, composer or performer names throughout a review might prevent that review being located by the search, so are more "serious" than those where the OCR has got it right elsewhere in the same review, for example. Just a thought.

Slooowly, chief.
I'm waiting two (yes, two) years for the corrected scan of Collection VW's symphony no. 5 in June 2000.
I deserve the heaven, by the powers.
Thank you in advance.

DaveF,
The answer is yes, but slowly - there is a back-log, though we will get there in the end.
And readers who wish to follow your lead to the Dutilleux review will now find nothing there to see...
