Word verification
When I was writing (and subsequently re-editing) a recent post I got the "please complete the word verification below" message about half-a-dozen times.
Surely after the first time, I've demonstrated that I'm not a malicious 'bot'?
If it needs to repeatedly ask me - and about much the same content every time - the word verification seems pointless, since, if I am a 'bot', I'm one that can do the word verification correctly, so it's obviously not an effective test.
Plus it's rather annoying :-)
PS. I got the wretched " please complete the word verification below" message when trying to post this!

Sorry, SpiderJon - one of the downsides of using an external service for spam protection is that sometimes we don't have as much control over what or whom is regarded as spam.
However, I've just taken matters into my own hands and created an 'Unmoderated User' role. As my mother would say, "seein' as ye're no' a'body" (she was fond of apostrophes), you are now the one and only user in that role. Use it wisely, my son; with great power comes great responsibility...

And now I've just got
"Your comment has been queued for moderation by site administrators and will be published after approval."
for what I'd regard as a 'routine' reply - and after numerous 'word verification' requests, when editing/previewing it in the first place.
It's all getting rather ridiculous.
