RE: Gaps in streamed playback

I bought (and returned) the Sitecom transmitter. It worked fine with all media players and streaming from internet all except Spotify. For some reason Spotify kept crashing after playing the first track and I could only play Spotify through my HiFi via headphone socket.

RE: Gaps in streamed playback

I've recently encountered this problem whilst playing albums downloaded losslessly from the (excellent) French download site Qobuz. I play them via iTunes/Airport Express and I had initially thought that I had failed to set the thing up properly. (I am still very much at the "Janet-and-John" stage of all this stuff...) I then realised that the albums in question (all complete operas) were all from the same label - Decca Classics!

As a (relatively) inexpensive experiment, I re-purchased one of the albums from i-tunes. Same problem...

It seems clear that the problem is Decca's rather than the download site, so if even a major player like Decca hasn't got it quite right yet, maybe the 10 square metres of packed CD shelving on my study wall should stay where they are for the time being!

Have you tried playing your files on a computer using the Foobar 2000 media player? I haven't experienced any problem with gaps since moving to that player.
