I would love to alert readers and forum users to a wonderful small venue in London's Highgate, The Red Hedgehog. Offering salon-style concerts top-flight musicians in an intimate setting, The Red Hedgehog is a unique concert experience, allowing one to truly get "up close and personal" with music and performers.

On 26th March, acclaimed British pianist, Peter Donohoe, begins his Complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas at The Red Hedgehog, in an 8-recital series over 4 consecutive weekends. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a world-class performer in a very special setting.

The Red Hedgehog receives no grants or funding. Instead, it relies on a loyal group of supporters, audience and artists. Venues like this deserve our support. So GO TO A CONCERT!!!

Thank you for taking the trouble to read this

Sounds great - sadly too far for me, but I've alerted a friend who lives in the smoke!

I will be visiting London next month.  Does this small venue still exist?  It sounds amazing to truly get "up close and personal" with the musicians.  How  small is the venue?  Will I be blown away from the sound out of the speakers?
