By the way, Rebel was a considerable master of orchestration in the Baroque period. Les Elements is a superb example of a very colourful masterpiece, with the very limited orchestral resources of the era.

There are always small details making the elusive difference (which sometimes, even Americans can tell).

No, no, Troyen. My reply was mostly addressed to him rather than to you. I hope he got the message.

In fact, I just wanted to give a very sort info about an almost unknown composer, whom I happen to admire for his inventiveness in orchestration and creativity in composition. Actually, I was surprised he seems to know him and used him as a point of reference.
