Benjamin Dale

I am now researching Benjamin Dale in an effort to build some interest in him within the United States. Is there any way anyone can help regarding a 2002 recording of Vernon Handley's BBC performance of "The Flowing Tide"? I think it is hard to formulate a complete picture of Dale without hearing and analysing that work. If not, can anyone direct me to someone who can. Many thanks in advance. I can be contacted at bminky1@aol.com Dr. Brian Ferrell

RE: Benjamin Dale
Thank you for the suggestion but that didn't work. BBC is such a monolithic entity that it's virtually impossible to reach a real human being. I am hoping someone out there can suggest a person that I could contact. Anybody?

It's still not commercially available, but the BBC obviously have the recording, as they broadcast it on Friday, 16 Jan 2009, as part of a tribute to Vernon Handley.
So it might be worth contacting someone at R3, to see if they could help - there's nothing to lose by just asking, leastways.
"Louder! Louder! I can still hear the singers!"
- Richard Strauss to the orchestra, at a rehearsal.
