We almost booked for this concert - just as well we didn't. The strange thing is that I think we saw what may well have been the same chap (judging by the description) acting strangely at the recent Jonas Kaufmann recital at the RFH. He was sat in the choir stalls and we were at the front of the balcony, almost dead opposite. It was evident from his gestures that he was making those sitting around him feel rather uncomfortable and they certainly did their best to avoid him. the poor woman who sat next to him looked rather nervous. He didn't reappear in the second half.
Coming after the Proms disruption earlier this year when we were also present, I'm beginning to get twitchy at the slightest movement by anyone sitting near me at a concert these days.
