Greetings to all participants.
I would to ask if Elisabeth Connell sang the roles of Brunhilde in Die Walküre , Siegfried and Götterdämmerung. In the biographies I've read don’t reflect it but these videos on
youtube show her singing the beginning of the second act of Die Walküre and Siegfried’s duo with Steephen Gould .

There is a fairly full biography of Elizabeth Connell on the official Bayreuth Festival site. It shows that she sang Ortrud, Brangäne and Senta at Bayreuth, also Kundry (at the Holland Festival) and Elisabeth (La Scala). She sang the Walküre Brünnhilde in Santiago, Chile.

I'm sure she should have sung most of the Wagnerian roles. She had the voice. However, as for her recordings, as far as I can tell, she has recorded only the role of Waltraute (in Die Walkure), in the English version, under Goodall (on Chandos, formerly on EMI).
