Global Commissioning for New Music

Since 2000, I have created consortiums of orchestras, donors, foundations to commission new piano concerti by composers such as William Bolcom, Richard Danielpour, Lowell Liebermann, and Ellen Taaffe Zwilich. Ms. Zwilich was the first, for the 27-orchestras' "Millennium Fantasy" project, which resulted in a Naxos recording release in 2010. I return to Ms. Zwilich, for a global project, which includes orchestras in the US, Canada, Iceland, and awaiting confirmation from Asia, UK, South America and beyond. The NEW aspect of this project, is to include you, and your friends, and people throughout the world as 'everyday people' involved in the process of commissioning significant new compositions.
