Gramophone iPad app automatically shut down, unable to read

To whom it may concern,

Hi, my name is Chieh-Wei Shiue.I became a gramophone iPad version subscriber about a month ago,and I have to say the experience has been disappointing.
First, it's hard to turn the pages.It takes me about 30 SECONDS to turn ONE page each time, and I have to try very hard tapping all over the iPad screen,figuring out where is the "ideal spot" to turn the pages. This is really annoying. I also read TIME and the Economist on my iPad 2, and I don't have any problems with those two apps. 
And the worst thing is, starting about a week ago, whenever I tries to open the Gramophone app to read the magazine, it shuts down automatically,which means I can not read the magazine at all.
I wonder if you could provide a solution for me?

Dear bernardshiue,

Thank you for your post regarding the the digital magazine and I will reply to your comments in turn.

1) I am sorry to hear you are having trouble turning the page of the digital edition. You can also use the arrows in the page frame to turn as you read if you are continueing to have trouble with the swipe functionality. As you can see from our promotional video this isn't something we have trouble with. Having the issue downloaded onto an issue may help as it will reduce the loading time for each pages as it will not need to be pulled off the internet.

2) We have had a few technical problems in a number of time zones connected to the iOS6 platform. If you could please let me know your where you are based I pass this information onto our technical team who will look into this for you.

Dear bernardshiue,

We are working with Apple to update the app so that this problem is resolved. I am hoping this should happen at some stage next week but until then you should be able to resolve this by switching to the Hong Kong time zone on your iPad. I know it makes no difference in terms of the actual time but it should solve the problem in the short term.

Again, I apologise you have run into this problem but it should be fixed soon.
