I have a recording made on the HMV label in 1922 by the Royal Albert Hall Orchestra and conducted by Sir Landon Ronald. The discs are in good condition but we are moving in and many possessions are going. Should I simply give the discs away if I can find someone who might want them? What, if any, value might they have?

Hello,

It's a nice find, but not a rarity. Other acoustic Beethoven sets, like the Pfitzner Parlophones are more sought after. The Landon Ronald set has been transfered by Damien Rogan, and is still online, so for people who want to hear the Landon Ronald set from 1922:

I think it's value lies around the 40 pound.
