Can anyone help me...

I have just picked up a collection of old grammophone records from the recycle centre and would like to know if they have any historical signifance, and if so, what they are valued at so i can insure them.  Here are some of the brands and titles

brunswick 10" 4396 "The bird at the waterfall", Margaret McKee, in original sleeve

Columbia 10" "A radio fans dream" part one and two, Rupert Hazel (No Sleeve)

His Masters Voice 10" "You will remember vienna", Richard Crooks (original sleeve)

If this info means anything to anyone, I will post the rest of them later..dont want to bore you all to tears..

Well done! Key thing is to enjoy the records.

I can't say that I'm familiar with them. My instinct is that there is probably not a huge demand for them and that there won't be many other copies out there being sold.

You could try doing searches of websites like amazon to see if similar records are on sale - although sometimes people ask ridiculous amounts.

If yoou want to sell them, the key is to find someone who really really wants them. Anyone else probably won't have a clue.

Of course everything depends on the condition.

Best wishes,

P

One idea is to try looking for similar offerings on ebay to see how other collectors are asking for their collections.
