Know anyone who has taken this online NY Times course on classical music

Hi all. I'm eager to learn more about classical music and my cousin taught me about this NY Times taught course. Has anyone here heard anything about this class - would it be worth taking?

You don't need a course on classical music you just need ears and a brain, they are just after the next suckers money, go and buy a book on Amazon or ebay, it sounds like a rip off to me. However my brother Albert is the clever one.
