Mo re about the new DG web page
Today, I find a DG web page that "says" in a "news" section below the principal page, that they are indeed allowing downloads to everywhere. But..., but..., there are no tools at all for that purpose, just for purchasing CD's. What is the spirit behind these series of disagreable behaviours from DG web page? Anybody could tell me that I am a stupid who cannot find the tools for downloading, or somebody could explain me such an intollerable fact with reasonable arguments?

This is bad news indeed. I was excited to find out about their webshop and planned purchased a disc soon afterwards, planning to eventually spend all my money there. But after this move of theirs, my country isn't even listed when I click Choose your country.
I hope they fix this soon, as it is a real shame.
When I wrote to them, asking about it, this is what they told me:
"Whilst we hope to be able to broaden our catalogue to as wide a base as possible, due to security reasons we are not presently able to supply products to Romania. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."

I really don't see what was wrong with the old site.

DG and Decca websites have been down the whole weekend - just nothing there. Spooky.

There does seem to be a problem, yes.
For example, if you go to the page for Berg's and Stravinsky's Violin Concertos by Perlman initially there's no "Add to Cart" option or any format information.
If you now go to "Select your country" at the top centre of the page and choose "United Kingdom" (you'll get a warning that changing country may remove items from your basket, but since there's nothing in your basket anyway, just click 'ok'), FLAC and MP3 download options will appear.
But if you now change country to, say, "Chile" - or pretty much any country other than United Kingdom, so far as I can tell - those options disappear.
So, no - it's not you.
My guess, being charitable, would be that they simply haven't yet implemented the necessary support for worldwide downloads - but it does seem silly (I think "intolerable" is a bit extreme) to announce that downloads are available worldwide before ensuring that it works.
