The Gramophone in Digital format

I have just added the digital edition of Gramophone to my print subscription for a trial period with a view to cancelling the latter version i.d.c. However, my initial impression is that reading online using my 15" laptop is a little hard going. Having to read in landscape mode means that one has to keep using the cursor keys or mouse to read each page. Reducing the size to accommodate each page makes reading difficult. A 10" tablet would seem to be the best solution, however I understand that the full facilities including audio clips are only available on the Apple Ipad at present, the cost of which I cannot justify. Given  the recent growth in budget 8-10" android tablets I am wondering whether the digital version will become fully compatible with these devices in the forseeable future? If not, then I shall probably stick with the printed version.
