The natural order of movements!

Mahler 6th - Scherzo 2nd, Andante 3rd. Otherwise the Scherzo just sounds out of place and noisy.

Bruckner 2nd - Again Scherzo 2nd, Andante 3rd, and for the same reason. The scherzo must always follow the Andante.

Actually I think I may have hit on the formula for life, Scherzo then Andante. Has it ever worked the other way around, I doubt it. Like day follows night. Like summer follows spring. Like left follows right, like tea follows dinner, unless you are really posh and then dinner follows lunch, but that's neither here nor there, breakfast always comes first, though you can combine it as brunch. Like the chicken follows the egg .......... egg for breakfast chicken for lunch, or dinner.........

As a group, doctors seem to be totally indifferent to the order of movements as long as they're happening. Philistines, the lot of them.
