Your favourite little Mozart symphony. 35-41, 25, 29 don't count, why not, because I said so.

I bet everyone's gonna pick the Paris Symphony, #31 (not sure why you didn't include that one in your "forbidden" list) but I'll choose #33 in B-flat. It's a more subtle and atmospheric piece, i.m.o.

Does #34 count? I have one recording of it (Boult & the Boston Symphony at Tanglewood in 1966) and it includes a minuet (K.409) in place of the missing one. Is this common practice or is it performed as a three movement symphony?

Mozart in the minor is the first priority and the big rarity to chase for. So, K.183 the other little g minor one, first of all the actual "little" ones.

I was close to adding the Paris Symphony to the banned list. Parla, read the question before answering, Symphony 25 doesn't count, go on you still got time to redo it. But no copying

Sorry, Herr Kant, but I know the Symphonies mostly by the K. numbering. In this case, the rest do not count for me as exceptional ones. I can live with all or without any of them.

Try the early Symphony No.14 in A (K114).  I've always loved this. In the slow movement Mozart uses his favourite divided violas for the first time.  Böhm catches the spirit of this perfectly.
