Amuse yourself by trying to work out who is going to stand up next...

Apologies, of course, for being behind the curve as ever where (wiggles fingers in air) 'social media' is concerned. Not a great Facebook person, I am afraid, but someone sent me the link this morning and thought it worth sharing.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it...

And 10 million viewers for Handel, that's a bonus!

But don't underestimate the power of a flashmob... The Dutch government wanted to cut away all Dutch radio orchestra's.
As (one of the) protests, the MCO (music center of the radio) organised a flashmob in the the Hague central trian station:

(Leonard Bernstein, by the way).

It made the 8 o clock news. In the end, 100.000 autographs against the cut were collected, and it now seems at least a part of the MCO (with the second largest music library in the world!) is saved.

Yet, for the near future, the continuation of other Dutch orchestra's, the Residentie orchestra in the Hague in particular, is unsure. State secretary of Culture and education Halbe Zijlstra has forbidden all (you read it, all) Dutch orchestra's to plan anything beyond 2013. For anyone who knows about planning and logistics of an orchestra, knows how unworkable this is

Nice one Rolf - sends a tingle down ya spine eh?

Sorry Andrew didn't mean to come across that you're 'so yesterday'. Lol - as they say on FBook.

S'OK: took me ages to get an iPod, and I only bought one when it became clear I'd need one for product testing, while my conversion to iPhone only happened when they became standard company issue.

I love my Nano for podcasts but struggle to listen to music for any length of time on it - not keen on earbuds. Do you have Spotify on your iPhone and have you tried it on Android phones?
