Fri, May 21 2010, 10:12PM
How can a recording of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue not be included in a list of 250 greatest recordings of all time? You include Muhly, Nancarrow, Norgard, Myaskovsky, Morricone,Sheppard, Rautavaara, Reich, and no Gershwin Rhapsocy in Blue????? Any of CD recordings of this masterpiece brings joy to listeners on this side of the pond...Bernstein, Earl Wild, Previn. Its hard to believe no recording made the list!!!!

Hey Weston jm,
there is a copycat posting this message all over the forum - pretending to be you as well!. I'd report it to the management. Plagiarism is tedious!
As for Gershwin, shame it's missing, but this is only one list of the best recordings. Glad you enjoy GG - I'm not averse to him at times.
Best wishes,
P
