Editing Your Collection - How?
Latecomer responding to the original post: I don't add to my collection at this point, I revise it -- with the goal of having ONE performance of every work I'm interested in. For instance, I've owned 2-3 different versions of Haydn's late masses -- first I had all six in the old St Martin in the Fields recordings, then purged them to make room for Richard Hickox's series, then unloaded three of Hickox's in favor of Pinnock (Nelson), Harnoncourt (Tempori belli), and Kuijken (Harmoniemesse). I live in a small apartment and have absolutely no more space than what I'm using. And, in fact, I find the space problem helps me focus -- I spend a lot of time researching, listening to samples, etc., before buying anything new. Offloads go to friends and a local college library.

You cannot rearrange the numerical order of the CDs once they are loaded onto JB7, but you can make a playlist with them in any order.
