Since Glenn Gould is topical right now, may I ask if anyone recalls, and can put a name to, a piece in which railway sounds, most insistently a haunting steam train whistle, is used along with some talking and other admixtures. It is not "The Idea of North" which is more like a spoken aural history/reminiscence with railway background. I heard it years ago on the radio, but the title of the composition eludes me now.
