Ives violin sonatas

Sonatas 1 - 4, a new recording on DG with Hilary Hahn and Valentina Lisitsa. I can't say I really get Ives, Barber referred to him as an amateur and once you get over that two bands meeting playing different tunes thing he doesn't seem to offer much, apart from rehashed hymn tunes, two hymns meeting. I like the front cover photo though, Lisitsa is a total babe, so I may be tempted.
