Mono versions of early Stereo Opera recordings on CD?

I notice that Karajan's 1950s Der Rosenkavalier has been released in stereo and mono versions on CD - I wondered if anyone knows of any other Opera recordings from the time which have appeared in mono and stereo versions on CD?

Has anyone seen the mono Schwarzkopf Karajan Rosenkavalier available online other than the hard-to-get 1996 CD edition? I read in a Gramophone article about the different versions but have not been able to find a mono copy which is not exorbitantly priced to sample the differences.
