I do think there is music that one never gets to love. There are people I have been trying to get on with for many years and have come to the conclusion that at 48 it just ain't going to happen for me, I'd rather listen to things I don't know or know and love than things I know I don't love.
What's your experience of musicmagpie, since you mention it? I am in the process of having a purge down t'vicarage as a result of this line of thinking, and have been researching places to sell music.
