There are so many (free) classical concerts/recordings on the internet, I thought I'd make a thread about that.

The Dutch public broadcasting system has a staggering amount of concerts on their different sites. Problem is, that even if you speak Dutch, they are hard to locate... So, here is a selection for you:

This is an awesome account of Mahler's 9th symphony by Yannick Nezet-Suigin and the Rotterdam Philharmonic orchestra:

if you have Silverlight installed, and:

if you don't have Silverlight installed.

To my humble opinion, I don't think I've heard a more compelling 3rd movement of this Symphony.

What do you think about this performance?

For all you organ lovers, this is a website with a couple of 100 organ recordings. All files are in 192Kbs. A small selection;

Ton Koopman on the Schnitger organ in Zwolle, Nl, 1971:

Helmut Walcha in Utrecht 1967:

Leo van Doesselaar on the Batz organ in Utrecht 1986

Greetings,

Rolf
