Verdi's opera La forza del destino is currently in production at London's Royal Opera House, featuring Liudmyla Monastyrska, Jonas Kaufmann, Ludovic Tézier and Ferruccio Furlanetto, conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano.

A DVD recording of the opera by the Bavarian State Opera, featuring both Jonas Kaufmann and Ludovic Tézier from the current ROH production, was shortlisted for the Gramophone Opera Award in 2017. In his original review for Gramophone, Hugo Shirley noted that the production benefitted hugely from 'featuring Ludovic Tézier – arguably the finest Verdi baritone active today – on marvellous form.'
