A complete, live performance of the symphony recorded at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam

The compelling performance below of Bruckner's Seventh Symphony by the European Union Youth Orchestra and Bernard Haitink (Gramophone's Lifetime Achievement Award-winner in 2015) was recorded live at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on August 29, 2016. The concert was given as part of the orchestra's 40th anniversary tour and Haitink is their current Conductor Laureate, having been their Music Director from 1994-2000. 

Haitink has a long history with this particular symphony, having recorded the Seventh with the Concertgebouw Orchestra in 1966 and 1979, as well as with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 2007.
