Today one of the greatest singers died. For me he was the finest of the singers: clear and unmistacable voice, extraordinairy musicality and a memorable talent. I'm happy he made so many recordings that will continue his legacy. I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace, Tony!

Yes we lost one of our finest tenors of this century...who is my very dear and supportive friend, my teacher and my role model. It've been such a privillege to have an overseacall from Tony who wanted to train me. You were very kind and worked with me patiently. Yesterday evening after recieving the sad news from London, I spent my evening by going through the memories of my unforgetable time that I spent with Tony for over a year of intensively vocal training...lunches we had together...several cups of tea that I made for us...I really miss you so much Tony. Your voice will be in me...and I hope you can hear me from the sky above...Rest in Peace, Tony!
