Christmas Greetings

I 'll be away for the next few days and then over Christmas, so I'd like to take the opportunity to offer Christmas Greetings and Best Wishes to all the Forum members and especially to those I've been regularly corresponding with, Camaron, Jane, Parla, Goofyfoot.

I hope you all have a peaceful and musical Christmas.

Greetings for the best Season of all.

What a wonderful and meaningful gesture from your side, Chris (even beyond the srtrict scope of this forum)!

This period of the year is the most significant to some of us, and to me maybe more. I grew up with very meaningful memories of the importance of Family, the reunion of true friends, loved ones that managed to come all the way from the other part of the world to be part of ourselves and, sometimes, the poignant face of reality, when we have to face the truth that some of them have gone...However, Christmas, as the celebration, much more the inspiration, of loving and the bliss of being loved, is always the greatest motivation to embrace the world and...count your blessings...

As a sort of a token of my appreciation and friendship, Chris, I give some lyrics from a meaningful and rather poignant song of Ann  Hampton Callaway, a great singer of the American Songbook and Jazz. It is called "God Bless My Family":

"As years go by

The carols we sang as children gather memories

What was just a song now feels like a prayer

Welcoming us home

To fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, everywhere

Some we've lost and some we found

As love circle us around

In the songs we share...

All the very best for this Blessed Season of Hope, Love and unique Spirit to you Chris and, by all means, to all the members of this forum, past and present.

Parla

Joyeux Noël

A Merry Chrismukkah to all!
