Anyone likes acoustic music? I like it much.
I trust classical music should be your favourite one. It is "acoustic" par excellence.
That's good, almost all "classical" music is accoustic. On this site we are particularly fond of a range of mostly structured and formally notated music, from the late 16th century up to the present day. We like music from a whole range of cultures but particularly the European traditions. We have devotees of opera, song, sacred music, solo instrumental music as well as music written for a variety of groups of instruments.
What music do you like?
It was a shame you never got back to us William. However, the spam needs bumping, so I'll just remind you that we'd like to know what music you like.
Acoustic music is the best thing to listen to when I'm at a bar during lunch time. Rare moments that are lifted further with some real simple music. Love it.
Smile more :)
If you listen to any recorded music then you are listening to electric music. Don't fool yourself into thinking you are listening to acoustic sounds, you are not you are listening to electronicaly synthetic sounds. Everyone here is listening to an electronic synthesiser playing their favourite symphonies.
Of course, playback music cannot be in practice "acoustic". Canned food cannot replace the fresh food, but one can strive for the "healthier" and best possible outcome. Depending on the recording process and the equipment used, one may have the closest possible result of the acoustic original.
In any case, the point here is that we opt for music that is acoustic in its source, not in music where the sound has been manipulated during the music making.
Finally, nowadays, even the live performances become less and less acoustic. Any sort of enhancement of sound is used without remorse or even second thought (wireless mic in Opera etc.).
Yes, you can't beat acoustic singing.
