Mengleberg

Considered by at least one reviewer to be the best 'Les Preludes' he's ever heard;

William Mengleberg and the Concertgebouw, Liszt 'Le Preludes' (1929) from the Mengleberg Andante label remastered box set.

There's also a nice Strauss 'Rosamunde Overture' with this set as well as the 'Eroica' and some other fine renditions from Suppe, Brahms, etc...
