Experimental restoration of Bach on 78s

I've had a go at some difficult 78s of Bach harpsichord music. They either have high surface noise levels or booming low frequencies and the procedure has been more intrusive and varied than usual. I'm wondering whether nevertheless the result might be acceptable. You can hear for yourselves here

Thanks for sharing these with

Thanks for sharing these with us. The timbre of the harpsichord is rather different to what we hear on more modern recordings. However, my ears have somewhat adjusted to the sound by the beginning of the Italian Concerto.

Who was the harpsichordist? When was it recorded? I guess information about the instrument used is not available.
