Keiser's Croesus

Have searched high and low in archive but failed to find any review of the opera. Does anyone know if Gramophone reviewed it?

Keiser's Croesus.

Although it exists in at least two different recordings, one with Jacobs (on HM) and an older one with Clemencic (on Nuova Era), I doubt that it received any reviews outside the Francophone press. However, Gramophone honours, normally, the HM productions...

In any case, if you are interested in the HM recording with Jacobs, it is one of the very good productions of the good label, at the usual standards of the conductor's perception of the Baroque Opera and with some excellent singers. The Opera itself is one of the many "discoveries" for the curious and pretty much interested in the period people.
