parental, profit, and peer pressure

tjh212, this sounds like Odessa, Ukraine of the early 20th century. I had a friend from Caracas and apparently from what he told me, everyone learns to play the guitar. Vienna, Paris, London may have been this way about the piano though my thought is that much of this is changing.

I laugh whenever I think of the homes in Fullerton, CA. and the money that's been made by people who worked in some capacity for the Fender company. Haven't the majority of parents in the UK replaced the living room piano for a Fender Telecaster with a Twin Reverb amplifier?
