Sony Classical

Sony Classical emerged in 1990 when Sony bought CBS Records (which had recorded Igor Stravinsky, Leonard Bernstein, Vladimir Horowitz and Glenn Gould), and the label moved from the US to Germany. Among its current stars is the pianist Lang Lang who has recorded Prokofiev and Bartók with the Berlin Philhamonic and Sir Simon Rattle.
