Warner Classics
The company was created in 1991 from the existing Erato, Teldec (formerly Telefunken) and NVC Arts labels. In 2013, Warner acquired EMI Classics (and its French arm, Virgin Classics). One of Warner Classics' earliest successes was Nikolaus Harnoncourt's Beethoven symphony cycle with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Gramophone's 1992 Recording of the Year.
