Biography
Recipient of the Grawemeyer Award, Berlin Prize, Rome Prize, and other prestigious fellowships and awards, Sebastian Currier is internationally recognised as one of the preeminent composers of today. With an output spanning both orchestral and chamber genres, his works have been performed by ensembles including the San Francisco Symphony, New World Symphony, New York Philharmonic, and Berlin Philharmonic, as well as the Cassatt, Ying, and Kronos string quartets.
