Patricia Kopatchinskaja wins Gramophone Recording of the Year - watch the moment we reveal she has won!

Patricia Kopatchinskaja was named the winner of Gramophone's coveted Recording of the Year at the 2013 Gramophone Classical Music Awards, presented on September 17 at London's LSO St Luke's in association with Steinway & Sons and EFG International.

Gramophone's editor-in-chief James Jolly told the violinist that she had won for her Naïve recording of Bartók, Ligeti and Eötvös violin concertos. That moment was captured on film and you can watch her astonished reaction below:
