At the recording sessions with young treble Aksel Rykkvin, the OAE and conductor Nigel Short

Not many singers get the opportunity to record arias by Bach, Handel and Mozart with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment at any age, which makes the achievement of 12-year-old Aksel Rykkvin all the more extraordinary. In the video below, Aksel speaks about his recording of arias for Signum Records, and conductor Nigel Short explains what makes the young singer so special. The recording will be released in September (but you can pre-order at Amazon now).
