Ailyn Pérez and Luca Pisaroni bring joy to the host of The Late Late Show

Here's an amusing demonstration of the power of opera to raise the spirits. The Late Late Show's host James Corden is in a funk until he is suddenly joined on set by Ailyn Pérez and Luca Pisaroni singing at full throttle...

Pérez and Pisaroni are singing the Adina/Dulcamara duet from Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. If you would like to explore a full recording of this opera, we recommend the version on Erato starring Roberto Alagna and Mariella Devia, with the English Chamber Orchestra conducted by Marcello Viotti (read our original review here).
