Paxton House is a stunning 18th century Palladian villa that lies in the Scottish Borders on the banks of the River Tweed. Each year in July it hosts Music at Paxton, a summer chamber music festival. Audiences can enjoy house tours as well as wandering in the beautiful grounds (photo gisphotographic.co.uk)

Music at Paxton extends its educational programme this year with a series of family workshops led by the percussion duo, O Duo. The workshops culminate in an outdoor family performance on Sunday 20 July. Live Music Now Scotland also celebrate their 30th birthday with an educational series with Music at Paxton. Founded in 2006, the Paxton Festival is a 10-day chamber music festival that presents concerts at the 18th-century Paxton House in the Scottish Borders. This year the festival features performances from pianist Alasdair Beatson, percussion ensemble O Duo, the Edinburgh Quartet, harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani and the Chiaroscuro Quartet.
